In December 2022, Slowboat returned to Beijing’s historic hutongs with the opening of the Baitasi Taproom, located in the heart of Xicheng District. Just steps away from the iconic Miaoying Temple - home to the 50 meter tall White Stupa, the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhist pagoda in China - this taproom offers a uniquely local experience surrounded by centuries of cultural heritage.
Spanning two floors with panoramic views of the White Stupa and neighboring alleys, the Baitasi Taproom features 20 taps on each level and seating for up to 160 guests. The menu includes Slowboat’s award-winning burgers along with new favorites like the Dry-Aged Chopped Steak Burger.
Cicerone-trained bar staff are on hand to guide guests through a rotating selection of Slowboat beers, helping you find the perfect pairing for any mood or meal. With heated floors and a warm, inviting interior, the Baitasi Taproom is a cozy destination year-round—offering great beer, great food, and an unforgettable view of one of Beijing’s most remarkable landmarks.
